Lunar Halo Convergence - Continental Challenge 22M Damage Guide
Hey, guys, it's SQUID (鱿鱼) here. Today, I present you with an all-star lineup with Lv.100 Heroes that can reach the 5th milestone (22M damage) in the Continental Challenge. This event is highly difficult and requires you to have a complete lineup and set of equipment, so get ready. I. About the Event
The Continental Challenge is the third challenge of the Lunar Halo Convergence event.

In this challenge, 6 bosses will be distributed to different random locations on the continent, and players will receive different levels of rewards and earn points based on the damage they deal to the bosses. Based on the damage dealt to the bosses, players are ranked and receive additional rewards accordingly. The bosses will rotate 4 times, lasting 7 days after each rotation.

The bosses are at level 240, and they take 100% additional damage of certain elements. Each of your heroes can deploy only one time during each boss challenge, and each boss yields up to one reward. You can earn up to 3 boss rewards in each round of Continental Challenge. II. Boss Skills and Lineup Equipment
1. Boss Breakdown and Strategy

The bosses are at level 240 with 260 Resistance, so it's recommended that you have 280 Accuracy. Otherwise, you'll find your debuffs less effective on the enemies. However, based on my testing results, 220 Accuracy will suffice.
The bosses have 2 universal skills, the first of which is immunity against all control effects. Almost all the bosses have this skill.

The bosses will use their second skill after their ultimate to gain a 200% universal damage buff, which cannot be blocked or dispelled, and it lasts until the battle is over. Here are some Boss fight tips derived from what I've talked about so far:
1. Minimize the number of ultimate skills the Boss casts in a given time. 2. Improve your team's sustainability through AOE HP restoration, increased DEF, resurrection, etc. 3. Maximize DPS, and manually cast skills when necessary. 2. Six Boss Skills and Lineup Equipment
① Ice Ice lineups counter Alton, a boss that has few weaknesses. All of Alton's skills are AoE skills that target random units, so you should focus on how to configure your lineup rather than positioning. Here are the lineups I recommend:

Here's the positioning:

And here's the damage potential:

This lineup features very high single-target DPS, with the two supports endlessly supplying Ice Crystal to Beldelle, enabling Beldelle to constantly use his battle skill to deal burst damage. It's a satisfying combat experience!
② Fire
The hero for our Fire challenge is Irzillas. Here are his skills:

Pay attention to skill #2 and skill #3 as they both deal massive damage to front-row allies, and the Undead Creatures summoned by the boss also prioritize front-row allies. That's why, when fighting this boss, you should put a tank on the front row and put DPS and support heroes on the back row. This way, the boss and the summoned Undead Creatures can only deal damage to your tank. Here's the positioning:

Here's the lineup I recommend:
Lineup Breakdown: This lineup strongly relies on the tank's surviving capabilities and the damage output of back-row DPS. The reason why we go with Wild heroes but not Burn heroes is because this boss has very high Resistance, so it's not that good of an idea to stack high Accuracy with your DPS heroes. That's why I chose a Wild lineup. The final results are out:

③ Lightning The Lightning lineup counters Talwer. Here are the skills:

The 3 skills of this boss all inflict debuffs on allied heroes. Once you've dispelled those debuffs for your heroes, the boss starts dealing less damage to them. The 2nd skill of this boss summons a mushroom near an allied melee hero, so you'll need ranged heroes as your DPS. As for your supports, you can go with heroes that can dispel debuffs. Here are the recommended lineups:
 Here's the positioning:

With the right positioning, the two mushrooms summoned by the boss won't be able to taunt back-row allies, which means our DPS and healing are not reduced. And here's the total damage potential:
④ Necrosis Necrosis heroes counter Shai'nachatan. Here are the skills.

There are two things to keep in mind:
1. The Electrocution debuff can periodically deal damage to targets with this debuff, regardless of range. 2. The ultimate deals AoE damage to enemies on the first 4 rows, which is why we need to position our supports and DPS on the last row. This way, only the main tank takes damage from the boss's ultimate. As a result, we need a support who can dispel debuffs and a main tank who can really take the hit.
Here are the recommended lineups:

Here's the positioning:

And here's the total damage potential:
⑤ Radiance The Radiance lineup counters Journ. Here are the boss's skills:

When fighting this boss, positioning is key. The 2nd skill can deal damage to enemies on the first three rows and reduce their ATK, while the ultimate can deal AoE damage, make your heroes recharge their ultimates more slowly, and remove buffs from your heroes. The 2nd skill and the ultimate have the same logic when selecting targets: the number of targets > distance. That is, the boss picks the direction or location that can hit the most targets before prioritizing the closest targets. According to this mechanic, I decided to put my melee DPS and main tank on the first row, which is highlighted in red. What's good about this is that the boss's 2nd skill and ultimate will then only target the main tank (as indicated by the red arrow) without threatening the back-row heroes. As for the support standing next to the main tank, that support can tank damage coming from the boss's ultimate to protect allied DPS. Also, the boss's ultimate inflicts Ultimate Down, which can be devastating against DPS heroes.

The lineup shown in the image above is:

The image below shows how this lineup performs in combat:
This boss is tricky to deal with, especially so for melee heroes. You'll need the right positioning to defeat this boss.
⑥ Poison The Poison lineup counters Losenia. Here are the boss skills:

There are two things to consider here: the boss inflicts a Frost debuff on your heroes, which makes them take more damage from the boss's skills. The 2nd skill can periodically deal AoE damage to the boss's nearby targets. As for the ultimate, it deals massive AoE damage in a large range, and both the 2nd skill and the ultimate enjoy Frost bonuses. When fighting Lossenia, you need to get your lineup, equipment, and positioning right, But in fact, with a Poison lineup, there aren't many options left for you to choose from. Also, Poison heroes require more than 280 Accuracy because the boss has 260 Resistance. As for the positioning, since the boss's ultimate selects targets the same as the boss your Radiance lineup faces, you'll need at least two heroes to tank the boss's ultimate AoE damage. Here's the lineup I recommend:

The image below showcases the recommended positioning:

With this positioning strategy, the boss's AoE damage can only reach the two heroes outside the red box, and the boss's periodical AoE damage can only hit the main tank. The image below showcases the process:
The image below is the final result:

This boss is somewhat challenging. Your Poison lineup's overall damage output is limited, and the boss has very high Resistance, which means you'll have to sacrifice other stats and focus on stacking Accuracy. This is why you'll have a hard time fighting through this level. III. Summary
I spent quite a lot of time testing the game, and here's how I rate the difficulty of these bosses: Poison Boss > Radiance Boss > Lightning Boss > Fire Boss > Necrosis Boss > Ice Boss. The Ice boss is the weakest mainly because the Ice heroes are imbalanced, and it doesn't require you to get the positioning right. According to the latest information, you can earn only up to 3 boss rewards from each round of the Continental Challenge. I suggest you just pick the 3 easier bosses, which are the Ice boss, Fire boss, and Lightning boss. It's easy to reach the second DPS milestone. You don't have to invest too much in it. If you reach the 5th DPS milestone in each round, you can earn a total of 40 Lunar Halos (2x5X4=40). Plus the Shards you received from the two previous events, you have 190 Shards. Lastly, visit the shop and buy 10 Shards, then you can get the ultimate reward of this event—Ardreth! That's about this for this guide. I'll bring you more content soon. Until next time!
