[Lunar Halo Convergence]Continental Challenge High-Score Tutorial
In this season's Continental Challenge, achieving single-hit damage above the third tier is a daunting task—it's a test of the depth of your hero pool and the extent of your training. This is a guide to getting full scores in the S2 [Lunar Halo Convergence] Continental Challenge. It offers lineup recommendations for getting perfect scores against each Boss even in auto-combat mode, as well as advanced tips for climbing the leaderboard.
[Rule Description]
During the 5-minute challenge, rewards are given out in stages based on the damage dealt to the Boss as a team, and the damage inflicted is converted into points. There are 4 rounds of Boss challenge, each lasting for 7 days. Each round has limited Boss challenge attempts. Rewards are based on your total accumulated points at the end of each round. Once a hero is used in a Boss challenge, they cannot be used again in the same round. Each Boss has a unique elemental weakness and takes twice as much damage from their respective weak element. You can choose any four Bosses to challenge, based on your hero pool and Elemental Affinity.

For Travelers with a deep hero pool and a desire to climb the leaderboard, we recommend challenging Alton, Journ, Irzillas, and Talwer for easier high scores!
[Sample Lineup]
Alton
[High-Score Auto-Combat Lineup] Lineup: Acilia + Beldelle + Shinnah + Vinyara + Felosia

● Positioning Reference Note: Position your heroes as shown to ensure they all benefit from Acilia's healing and Felosia's Shield and DEF boost.

● Skill Timing Note: Alternate the use of Felosia's and Vinyara's ultimate skills to keep the team in a state of reduced damage.

● Team Aura Here, we used Beldelle's Crit Damage Aura to further increase damage dealt. ● Notes
- Vinyara's Ultimate Down effect is irreplaceable in the challenge, so it's not advised to replace her with a DPS hero.
[Configurations]
● Key Attributes Vinyara's Accuracy>280. ● Equipment

[Advanced Tips]
- To maximize damage, you need to manually cast Vinyara's ultimate skill. The Boss has three skill phases. The best time to use Vinyara's ultimate skill is right before the Boss casts a skill. This limits the Boss to only 11 passive skill stacks in 5 minutes.
In this scenario, you may replace Felosia with Zhorak to further boost damage dealt.
- Since the Boss's skills randomly target, if your DPS heroes end up being killed, don't save the run. Instead, keep restarting until you achieve the desired outcome. Using an advanced lineup can further increase the total damage output.
Irzillas
[High-Score Auto-Combat Lineup] Lineup: Khrysos + Torrin + Flora + Errich + Felicity

● Positioning Reference Note: Position your back row heroes as shown to avoid the AOE attacks of the Boss's first two skills.

● Skill Timing Note: Khrysos's ultimate skill cycle aligns with that of the Boss in timing, thus requiring no adjustments.
 ● Team Aura Here, we used Flora's Attack Aura to further increase damage dealt. ● Notes
- Khrysos should focus on investing in Accuracy in order to reliably inflict Attack Penalty, which allows him to withstand enemy damage longer than if he were only focused on investing in HP and DEF.
[Configurations]
● Key Attributes Khrysos's Accuracy>280. ● Equipment

[Advanced Tips]
- To maximize damage, you need to manually cast Errich's ultimate skill when the Boss summons skeletons with its third skill. This allows you to quickly clear minions, lessening Khrysos's need to absorb damage.
You may replace Torrin with Ghul'ende to ensure healing and continuous Attack Penalty II against the Boss.
Talwer
[High-Score Auto-Combat Lineup]
Lineup: Ergander + Oggok + Tharivol + Ivellios + Zeffi

● Positioning Reference Note: As shown, position Ergander and any high-Resistance support hero in the front row. This formation prevents the Boss from inflicting damage and Control on the back row.

● Skill Timing Note: Alternate the use of Ergander's, Zeffi's, and Oggok's ultimate skills to maintain a continuous cycle of Immortality and Invincibility. You may make slight adjustments based on your heroes' skill levels and Skill Haste.

● Team Aura Since the demo team lacks any attack-type Aura, we opted to use Oggok's Resistance Aura to boost survivability. ● Notes
- aMelee DPS heroes are not recommended, as the Boss attacks and inflicts debuffs and Control on nearby targets. If you need to replace a DPS hero, prioritize ranged heroes and position them as demonstrated.
[Configurations]
● Key Attributes The debuff heroes should have over 280 Accuracy. Ergander, Oggok, and Zeffi should each have over 280 Resistance. ● Equipment

[Advanced Tips]
- When both Ergander and Zeffi are at the max skill level, with adequate Resistance and HP/DEF, Ergander can survive for 5 five minutes without Oggok by seamlessly alternating between Invincibility and Immortality.
In this scenario, you may replace Oggok with Nimbus, Vani, or a Witch's Remains-equipped Iola for further damage enhancement.
- When both Oggok and Zeffi are at the max skill level, with adequate Resistance and Skill Haste >200, the entire team can seamlessly alternate between Invincibility and Immortality for 5 minutes via manual control.
In this scenario, you may replace Ergander with an Arbiter's Pendant-equipped Nastjenka for maximum damage.
- If your front row gets inflicted with Control and loses allies, don't save the run. Instead, keep restarting until you achieve the desired outcome. Using an advanced lineup can further increase the total damage output.
Lossenia
[High-Score Auto-Combat Lineup] Lineup: Ergander + Oggok + Zeffi + Twitch + Jathalea

● Positioning Reference Note: Set up as shown. Once Ergander charges at the Boss, the Boss can no longer deal damage to the back row with any skills except the third, and even the third skill is directed only toward Zeffi and Oggok. This ensures the safety of your DPS heroes.

● Skill Timing Alternate the use of Ergander's and Zeffi's ultimate skills to maintain a continuous cycle of Immortality and Invincibility, and ensure Zeffi's ultimate skill covers the Boss's every third skill cast. Use Oggok as a fail-safe to keep your team alive. Make slight adjustments based on your heroes' skill levels and Skill Haste.

● Team Aura The demo team can only use Oggok's Resistance Aura in this mode. If you're considering hero replacements, opt for those with an attack-type Aura to increase damage output. ● Notes
- Melee DPS heroes are not recommended. The Boss's basic attacks have a ricochet mechanism that can be deadly to melee heroes.
- Since this stage is unfavorable for melee heroes, and poison damage dealers struggle in this single-Boss battle, we suggest aiming for the third-tier rewards if your lineup's Elemental Affinity is not particularly high.
[Configurations]
● Key Attributes Twitch and Ergander should have over 280 Accuracy. ● Equipment
 [Advanced Tips]
- Jathalea's ultimate skill dispels all poison effects from the target. To maximize damage, it's best to use this skill just before the enemy's poison debuff is about to end.
- For maximum scores, you can add another poison damage dealer to the team. However, it's not recommended to replace Zeffi, as the Boss's third skill inflicts high AOE damage for 6s, while Oggok's ultimate skill only provides Immortality for 5s and is thus unable to protect the allies alone.
- Zeffi's ultimate skill requires taking damage to trigger the Invincibility effect at less than 30% HP. So, when you have no other healing heroes in the lineup, it's necessary for Zeffi and Ergander to wear Monelisse's Blessing for HP recovery and ally protection. In addition, when Ergander and Zeffi are at the max skill level, Skill Haste needs to be greater than 60 to ensure continuous Immortality and Invincibility.
Journ
[High-Score Auto-Combat Lineup] Lineup: Acilia + Rose + Lorentheel + Huberg + Alton

● Positioning Reference Note: When your heroes are positioned as shown, only Acilia and Lorentheel are likely to take damage, and other back row heroes can focus on dealing damage.

● Skill Timing Note: The best time to use Rose's ultimate skill is right before the Boss casts its second skill.

● Team Aura Choose either Lorentheel's or Alton's Crit Damage Aura to further increase damage dealt. ● Notes
- Rose's Recharging Speed Penalty effect works excellently in the challenge, so it's not advised to replace her with a DPS hero.
- If Acilia is not available, Garius can be a suitable substitute.
[Configurations]
● Key Attributes Rose's Accuracy>280. Lorentheel's HP>50,000, DEF>1,500. ● Equipment

[Advanced Tips]
- To maximize damage, you need to manually cast Rose's ultimate skill. The Boss has three skill phases. The best time to use Rose's ultimate skill is right before the Boss casts its second skill.
- Since the Boss's skills can inflict Ultimate Down, the skill rotation in auto-combat mode can become disordered. If executed flawlessly, this lineup can achieve up to 40 million damage, which can be further enhanced depending on Elemental Affinity levels and hero stats.
Shai'nachtan
[High-Score Auto-Combat Lineup] Lineup: Khrysos + Torrin + Ghul'ende + Scharlach + Gaiolere

● Positioning Reference Note: Spread out as shown to ensure Khrysos receives Torrin's passive skill mark.

● Skill Timing Note: Alternate the use of Khrysos's and Ghul'ende's ultimate skills to maintain a continuous Attack Penalty effect. Ghul'ende's ultimate skill can dispel Electrocution from your team immediately after the Boss uses its third skill.

● Team Aura Since the demo team lacks any attack-type Aura, we opted for Scharlach's HP Aura to boost survivability. ● Notes
- Khrysos should focus on investing in Accuracy in order to reliably inflict Attack Penalty, which allows him to withstand enemy damage longer than if he were only focused on investing in HP and DEF.
- It's recommended to place the units summoned by Scharlach's ultimate skill behind the Boss to avoid them getting hit and prolong their survival.
- Be sure to cast Torrin's ultimate skill after using Gaiolere's ultimate skill to duplicate Scharlach's summoned units. Otherwise, if Scharlach's summoned units enter an invisible state, they can no longer be duplicated by Gaiolere.
- Since this stage is unfavorable for melee heroes to group together, and summoners struggle in this single-Boss battle, we suggest aiming for the third-tier rewards if your lineup's Elemental Affinity is not particularly high.
[Configurations] ● Key Attributes Both Khrysos and Ghul'ende should have over 280 Accuracy. ● Equipment
 [Advanced Tips]
- To maximize damage, you need to manually cast Ghul'ende's ultimate skill immediately after the Boss releases its third skill to dispel Electrocution, and that's because Ghul'ende's battle skill can steal Ultimate Energy.
If survival is not a major concern, you may replace Torrin with high-quality summoners like Irzillas, Premtsa, Lelwanis, or Zakto to further boost damage output.
- Since the Boss's skills randomly target, if your DPS heroes end up getting killed prematurely, don't save the run. Instead, keep restarting until you achieve the desired outcome.
