S2 Grave of Venom - Stage Clearing Lineup

时间:2024-01-08 15:54:29  来源:  作者:
In this season, there are 2 more poisonous will-o'-the-wisps in the Grave of Venom stage, but the poisonous will-o'-the-wisps have lost their original skill. By inflicting debuffs on the wisps, they are less likely to assist in combat. The boss now has a skill that deals Global Damage, which will also dispel 1 debuff from everyone.
In this article, we'll walk you through the more easily accessible rare/epic hero lineup, aiming at guiding you to clear the stage on difficulty #9.
Meanwhile, we'll give you a legendary hero lineup for reference, which you can use for auto-combat.

I. About The Boss

II. Stage Clearing Configuration

[Recommended Level and Equipment]
Recommended Level
You can play the stage when the overall level of your team goes over 90, with the difference being ① the strength of the heroes on your team, ② the quality and Refinements of your equipment, and ③ the countering attributes of your lineup or individual heroes.
Equipment Requirements
All the heroes should have at least epic equipment at max Refinements (+16) plus legendary equipment at max Refinements (+20) for the tank so you have enough DMG Absorption. Based on the needs of your team, you can adjust such equipment.

III. Recommended Lineups
Lineup 1
Lineup: Horrus + Nathaniel + Sigrid + Iola + Heksandra
Description: Without a full set of legendary equipment at max Refinements (+20), Frurbath will have a hard time tanking the damage, so you don't necessarily have to have a 5-hero Elemental Affinity. Also, we'd prefer having Horrus as the main tank because that hero is even better at tanking damage.

Recommended Legendary Heroes:

Lineup 2
Lineup: Garius + Catherine + Gulal + Iola + Quarion
Description: Among the Ice and Radiance rare/epic heroes, there aren't many characters who can steadily inflict AoE Attack Penalty, which is why you need Iola for that role.

Recommended Legendary Heroes:

Lineup 3
Lineup: Horrus + Zhar'loth + Meggan + Sigrid + Iola
Description: Among the Fire and Necrosis rare/epic heroes, there aren't many characters who can steadily inflict AoE Attack Penalty, which is why you need Sigrid (a more common hero) and Iola for that role.

IV. Examples

*Using this lineup as an example, Horrus, Iola, and Sigrid should have legendary equipment at max Refinements (+20) to ensure survivability and damage output. As for the other heroes, they can use epic equipment at max Refinements (+16). You can substitute them with various high-quality heroes based on your own needs, and the overall strength can easily go much higher.

Team Aura
Here, we go with Horrus' HP Aura to allow more room for mistakes. If your team is more well-developed, you can consider changing it to offensive Auras so you can clear stages faster.
Food Improvement
When your team is not fully fledged, your heroes will have trouble surviving, which is why we recommend you use [Aquitaine Meat Pie], which is made of Elf Wheat ×2 and Wild Boar Meat ×1. It can give you +10% HP and +5% ATK for 600 seconds.
Stage Clearing Tips
1. Let Sigrid and Iola take turns to use their ultimate skills. This will ensure the enemies are always inflicted with Attack Penalty but don't do this before the boss's first skill lest the debuff is immediately removed, which can disrupt your tempo.
2. Horrus' ultimate skill can tank massive damage multiple times before the boss's third skill.
3. We recommend you activate Nathaniel's shield before the boss's first skill. This is to protect allies and keep them alive after the boss uses the AoE skill two times.
4. When you are about to lose allies, use the Control Skill to grant shields to all allies.
Other Notes
1. Your tanks should have over 80,000 HP and over 2,000 DEF.
2. Equipping Crown of the Unclean or Witch's Remains to Iola can improve the Defense Penalty and thus raise the team's damage output.
3. The enemies have 200 Resistance, so your heroes must have at least 220 Accuracy to make sure you can steadily inflict debuffs on the enemies.

When we tested this build, the team wasn't strong enough, so it was struggling to survive. If you have various high-quality heroes, and your team is stronger, you can consider replacing Nathaniel with other DPS heroes to clear stages faster.

V. High-end Auto-combat Lineup Rec

Lineup Rec
Lineup: Garius + Gillian + Auster + Lossenia + Felosia
Positioning Reference:

Lineup Breakdown: The Grave of Venom requires you to have strong tanks that have high DMG Absorption. Garius, who is capable of gaining DEF stacks, is the go-to choice for your Ice and Radiance Elemental Affinities.
Gillian and Felosia are both good at healing and granting shields, providing enough survival support even if your team isn't fledged enough.
Lossenia can inflict Frost on all enemies frequently, reducing the number of times the wisps fight in combat. If synergized with Auster, you can quickly wipe out the enemies.
