Greetings, Travelers. Since the launch of the Dawn's Promise event, we have received extensive feedback on the Magichess game mode. We appreciate your active participation and suggestions. We introduced Magichess to Enhance the strategic depth of PvP matches and create more opportunities for heroes to shine. It also serves as a supplementary cross-season progression system, aimed at improving the long-term experience and sense of achievement. To this end, we will continue to gather feedback and make adjustments, with the goal of making "Magichess" a deep game mode that supports cross-season progression. Based on key feedback from the community, we have outlined our plans for optimization and adjustments. The following is a Description of each point. Q: The current matchmaking times don't adequately serve players in different time zones. Can more time slots be added? A: Starting with the new Magichess season launching in early June, we will add an additional matchmaking time slot to better accommodate players in various time zones. Q: Will Magichess support friendly matches in the future? A: We are developing a duel feature, which is scheduled to launch next season. This mode will be available around the clock, allowing you to challenge friends or invite other players from the team-up channel to test lineups and discuss strategies in a relaxed atmosphere. Q: New Travelers are at a major disadvantage in Tavern Gambit. Will matchmaking be tiered according to progression stage in the future? A: We understand how important a fair matchmaking environment is to players. We are optimizing the matchmaking system and plan to launch a protection mechanism for new Travelers, as well as a more reasonable tiering system, next season. Q: The requirement of needing 10 heroes to build a deck for Magichess is a high barrier to entry. Are there plans to change this? A: To lower the barrier to entry, we plan to introduce a weekly free hero rotation for Tavern Gambit in the second half of this year. This will allow all Travelers to use a selection of designated heroes for free each week, making it easier to experiment with different team compositions and enjoy the game mode. We know that Magichess still has plenty of room for improvement. We will continue to listen to your opinions and make adjustments, as we are committed to polishing the mode into a deep and replayable experience. We welcome every Traveler to share your honest experiences and feedback. We take all your comments seriously and will continue to incorporate them into future iterations and optimizations.
