Season 3 introduces a fresh challenge to the Temporal Vortex: the mighty Great River God Dahwan. A tri-phase, high-pressure encounter that shifts with every decision you make, Dahwan is here to test strategy, timing, and team mastery at a whole new level.
🌊 Who Is Dahwan?
Dahwan is an ancient river deity who enters battle in three different forms. Immune to crowd control and Ultimate Down, this boss fights through a unique Mist system that you control before the challenge even begins. Every choice you make affects its behavior, its form, and the pressure your team will face.
⚙️ Core Mechanic: Mist & Tri-Phase Rotation
At the start of battle, Dahwan generates 100 Mist stacks — a special state that cannot be dispelled. Mist determines which form the boss enters during its Tri-Phase Rotation, triggered every 18 seconds.
• At 140 or more stacks: Scorching Phase
• At 60 or fewer stacks: Wrathful Phase
• Otherwise: Merciful Phase Your team composition and damage types influence how Mist rises or falls. This means your strategy isn’t just about dealing damage — it’s about controlling the boss’s phase at the right moment.
💧 Merciful Phase Dahwan begins in its gentlest phase, providing AOE healing for your team. But when Wax and Wane reaches 100 stacks, all healing becomes lethal damage.
• Blessed Rain restores allies within range.
• Nourish All heals teammates repeatedly, then adds Wax and Wane and triggers a Tri-Phase Rotation.
🔥 Scorching Phase This phase drastically increases the boss's Enlightenment Damage taken for 15 seconds, opening a high-risk, high-reward damage window.
• Roiling Wave inflicts Poison Damage and Defense Penalty.
• Abyss of Chaos deals multiple global hits, then resets Mist and back into Merciful Phase.
⚡ Wrathful Phase When Mist drops low, Dahwan becomes aggressive and vulnerable to direct damage for 15 seconds.
• Shorebreaker Strike targets the front row,applying Defense Penalty.
• Torrent of Flame deals sweeping Fire Damage, then resets Mist and back into Merciful Phase.
