Some heroes deal a different type of damage than others in their school. For example, Dauntless heroes
Ivellios and Schaltar focus on Enlightenment Damage. If a team is built around such heroes as main damage dealers, it’s better to choose Talwer as your challenge target.
Team ReferenceBoss Challenge - AusterTeam Composition:
Twitch + Corrin + Eli + Volthug + Nathaniel
- Build Reference
Summary: This team is built around
Twitch, focusing on Poison damage as the core output. Aside from
Twitch, who needs to stack over 260 Accuracy as the main damage dealer, Corrin and Eli should skip it to avoid lowering Poison damage. If
Vicana is available, you can replace
Eli with her. Vicana’s passive shortens the Poison interval, raising the team’s overall damage cap.
Volthug's multi-hitultimate makes him perfect for equipping
Witch’s Remains to inflict Defense Penalty on the boss.
Nathaniel needs to stack over 260 Resistance to reliably trigger
Titan Rib to provide allies with Damage Bonus. The recommended skill timing for this team is as follows:
Boss Challenge - TalwerTeam Composition:
Ivellios + Schaltar + Vani + Garian + Iola
- Build Reference
Summary: Ivellios and
Schaltar can both deal Enlightenment Damage at high frequency, making them ideal core heroes for a Talwer challenge team.
Garian can reflect the boss's Attack Penalty when equipped with
Prismatic Cloak. Max out his Resistance and activate the
Stand United talent to help allies resist debuffs. Other heroes should also
stack over 150 Resistance to avoid being hit by too many debuffs.
Iola goes first with her ultimate skill to trigger
Witch's Remains to inflict Defense Penalty.
Schaltar and
Vani then follow up with their ultimate skills, kicking off the team’s burst phase. The recommended skill timing for this team is as follows:
Boss Challenge - JournTeam Composition:
Huberg + Gladys + Lorentheel + Gillian + Felosia
- Build Reference
Summary: The Rally team excels at providing frequent buffs for allies. Since this stage features three enemies, it is highly suitable to use a Rally lineup for the challenge.
Felosia needs to stack over 260 Resistance to reliably trigger
Titan Rib to provide allies with Damage Bonus.
Adjust positioning —
Lorentheel, Gillian, and Felosia on the right side, and
Huberg and
Gladys on the other side — to prevent the two main damage dealers from being hit by the boss's skills and losing their buffs. In addition, adjust Skill Haste to cast ultimate skills in the order of Lorentheel, Gladys, and Huberg. No extra skill timing setup is needed.
Boss Challenge - GrishnaarTeam Composition:
Acilia + Vinyara + Gerthin + Bleddyn + Shinnah
- Build Reference
Summary: An Ice Blast team focusing on Crit Damage is very suitable for challenging Grishnaar. Even without Beldelle, the Epic Ice Blast team built around
Gerthin + Bleddyn can still deal considerable damage.
Acilia provides healing while dispelling the boss's Attack Penalty, helping allies maintain strong damage output.
Vinyara is responsible for dispelling the boss's buffs, gaining stage buffs, and inflicting Attack Penalty. She can also equip
Prismatic Cloak to reflect the boss's Attack Penalty, keeping the boss under Attack Penalty.
Since the Ice Blast team mainly relies on battle skills for damage, there’s no need to manually time skills except for Vinyara:
Boss Challenge - AltonTeam Composition:
Isitarian + Sintrellia + Vasska + Liko + Zhar'loth
- Build Reference
Summary: This team utilizes
Sintrellia's strategy of duplicating
Isitarian's summoned units as its primary damage source. The self-healing
Vasska acts as an off-tank to survive the whole fight and activate the Summoner school’s three-hero bond to boost the team’s damage cap.
Liko can dispel buffs and inflict Buff Prohibition, reliably stopping the boss from gaining Rally. This helps the team gain the stage's Attack Up effect.
Zhar'loth provides both healing and moderate damage. By utilizing his ultimate skill that can attack multiple times, he can inflict Defense Penalty on the boss when equipped with
Witch's Remains. Since this team has a smooth damage rotation, there’s no need to manually time skills.
Boss Challenge - IrzillasTeam Composition:
Durem + Karf + Percival + Adolphus + Elminster
- Build Reference
Summary: Irzillas will continuously summon skeletons to the battlefield, and his skills gain a Damage Bonus based on how many units are summoned. So it’s best to challenge him with Burn lineups or other AOE teams.
The suggested team centers around
Durem as the main damage dealer. Pairing him with two strong Burn inflicters,
Karf and
Percival, can frequently trigger Durem’s passive for huge burst damage.
Adolphus needs to stack over 260 Resistance to reliably trigger
Titan Rib to provide allies with Damage Bonus. Pairing him with
Elminster helps ensure the team's survivability and durability. The recommended skill timing is as follows:
