At Aquitaine Port, on the way to Dragonsaerie, an Ooze Monster is blocking the path. You need to collect the River Lord's Eye to weaken it. It usually takes four days to gather all the River Lord's Eyes, so how can you do it with just one Eye?
The recommended team is shown above. Vicuc and Ihuicatl's skills are a perfect match against this boss. Vicuc can clean two debuffs off your entire team, keeping poison stacks manageable, while his minor skill applies a Tier 2 Attack Penalty. This creates a damage reduction cycle when paired with Ihuicatl. Ihuicatl's passive also gives shields whenever teammates use their Ultimate skills. For tougher challenges, the Garius + Estella combo provides timely healing when your team's HP drops low. Tonalnan is your main damage dealer, dishing out serious hurt even without other Wild synergies.
When fighting the Ooze Monster, you have plenty of time, so you generally don't need to stress about failing due to low damage. Because of this, survival should be your top priority during the fight. All three of the boss's skills apply poison debuffs, so focus on debuff dispels or debuff immunity. Below are some commonly used function cards.
Since your level is low and your equipment isn't fully set up, simply dispelling or gaining immunity to debuffs will only stop stacking—the boss will still hit hard. Consider adding Defense Up or Attack Penalty effects to keep your damage dealers safe.
Next, think about adding some heroes with healing or shielding abilities to make your team last longer.
Lastly, make sure to include a damage output card that can hold its own. Below are some recommended damage output cards that don't rely too heavily on teammates.
When picking cards for specific roles, try to go for ones whose Ultimate skills fit your needs. Battle skills are automatic, which makes things less predictable and more unstable in tough challenges. Attack Penalty and Defense Up buffs come in Tier 1 and Tier 2, and they don't refresh their duration when reapplied. If you're using both, wait for one buff to wear off before putting on the next. Otherwise, you're just wasting cooldowns. For example, if a Tier 1 Defense buff is still active when you apply a Tier 2 Defense Up, the Tier 2 duration won't stack; it'll just reset as a new buff duration. Basically, it's a waste. We hope you all make it to Dragonsaerie, grab that first River Lord's Eye, and start an awesome new adventure! |
