Ancestral Ruins is a roguelike mode that rewards Wyrmarrow and exploration records upon completion.
The first week's trial heroes will be the Permafrost deck.
For lower difficulty levels in Ancestral Ruins, simply choose the Divine Blessing that aligns with your preferred playstyle. For higher levels, we recommend using Ice element decks combined with Shield-focused strategies. Advantages of Shield Flow in High Difficulty: You'll start strong with built-in self-preservation, even before your formation is complete. Once it's set up, your survival chances are incredibly high. You'll rarely lose units in combat. You won't fear burst damage or AOE attacks. Felosia is a perfect fit for this Divine Blessing in the first week. Disadvantages: Your map progression might be a bit slower. You'll need 2-3 support characters at the start to survive if you're tackling significantly tougher difficulties.
If you spot 1-2 Shield Flow options early on, it's a good idea to use them. Otherwise, Frost Flow or Debuff Flow are solid alternatives.
For your team, pick 2 tanks. This ensures you have a backup if your main tank goes down before your Shield Flow formation is fully established.
Always go for the maximum difficulty when choosing your path to guarantee you get Divine Blessings. For green options, pick Shop or Enhance to boost your power, aiming to reach 4 Shield Flow as quickly as possible. When Shield Flow isn't available, your other options are Frost Flow, Debuff Flow, Enhance Flow, or Attribute Correction. If you're using Felosia, you can also select the attack speed buff from Dauntless Flow. Shield Flow Active in Battle: Provides a strong sense of security, with most of your damage coming from Reflection.
Exploration Aptitude: We recommend the third row: DEF boost - Starting Funds - Initial Blessing. After selecting Initial Blessing, choose Free Refresh in the second row, then proceed based on your current situation.
This is just one way for new players to get started with Ancestral Ruins if you're not quite familiar with it yet. Ultimately, you should mix and match heroes based on what feels right to you and what you've learned through playing, for example, running a summoning deck with a Summon/Enhance/Healing flow in the first week. After all, the real fun of this mode comes from the unique combinations you can create by freely blending different elements. |
