Frost
For a fully stacked Ice Element team in the arena, the Frost comp's bond effects, combined with Dolchetis's opening move and Auster's super-fast Ultimate, can swiftly take down opponents. With powerful AoE damage, it dominates in PvP and group dungeons. Its survivability is a bit weak, so consider swapping damage dealers for Felosia or Vinyara in tough dungeons. Aside from the super rare Dolchetis, this comp lacks healing, so you'll need Necrosis Element healing heroes for certain dungeons.
Advantageous Environment: PVP Arena, Goblin Lair, Grave of Venom, Heretical Ruins, Grave of Curse Disadvantageous Environment: Temporal Vortex, Grave of Rot, and other single-target boss events Ancestral Ruins: Frost, Shield, Debuff
Dauntless
For a fully developed Lightning Element team in the arena, Nastjenka gets Grishnaar's protection right off the bat. This makes her incredibly tough to kill while she absolutely melts enemy units. Ivellios + Tharivol quickly trigger the Dauntless bond effect, and by late game, enemies will be dropping like flies even before they can unleash their first Ultimate skills. The Lightning Element doesn't have any Legendary heroes that heal. So, in dungeons, you'll have to rely on healers from other elemental factions or use Artifact sets with Lifesteal effects.
Advantageous Environment: PVP Arena, Temporal Vortex, Grave of Rot (non-exploration) Disadvantageous Environment: Goblin Lair, Grave of Curse, Heretical Ruins Ancestral Ruins: Dauntless, Enhance
Wild
For a fully developed Fire Element team, this setup delivers strong single-target damage but is pretty weak on AoE. Even when it's maxed out, it's not great at surviving. The unique Wild mechanism means the team's damage output can swing wildly, but it absolutely crushes single-target bosses. The Fire Element also lacks Legendary healing heroes. In dungeons, you'll just have to lean on healers from other elemental factions.
Advantageous Environment: Temporal Vortex Disadvantageous Environment: PVP Arena, Goblin Lair, Grave of Curse, Heretical Ruins Ancestral Ruins: Wild, Enhance, Debuff
Rally
For a fully developed Radiance Element team, this composition is super well-rounded and versatile. The Rally buff really amps up hero skills, allowing Thelendor to dish out excellent damage whether he's facing a single enemy or a whole mob. However, before Thelendor has his exclusive Artifact and equipment fully upgraded, he really needs his teammates to constantly apply Rally buffs and keep him safe.
Advantageous Environment: Grave of Venom, Goblin Lair, Heretical Ruins Disadvantageous Environment: PVP Arena, Grave of Curse Ancestral Ruins: Rally, Enhance, Healing
Poison
For a fully developed Poison Element team, your heroes really need top-notch gear. You'll want to stack up on Effect Hit and Skill Haste to keep those Poison stacks sky-high on enemies. Since there aren't any Legendary heroes who can reset Poison cooldowns, to get the most damage out of your team, it's a good idea to swap out Twitch for the Rare hero, Corrin. In the late game, this team can dish out some serious hurt against single-target Challenge bosses. But for regular dungeons, where you don't need to pile on Poison for Damage Over Time, you can stick with Twitch, who's also solid for AoE damage.
Advantageous Environment: Temporal Vortex, Goblin Lair, Grave of Venom, Heretical Ruins, Grave of Curse Disadvantageous Environment: PVP Arena Ancestral Ruins: Poison, Debuff, Healing
Summon
For a fully developed Necrosis Element team, constantly spawning Summoned Units helps Lelwanis transform into a true dragon faster. Plus, Sintrellia lets Lelwanis's passive skill stack an extra 20 layers. Lelwanis's team only really hits its stride once she turns into a true dragon, which makes it slower to get going compared to other comps. In tough dungeons and PvP, the Summoned Units from your heroes often don't last long. However, since event Artifacts and Legendary heroes make building summoner comps easier, you can mix and match members based on what you've got and use this as a secondary team. Advantageous Environment: Temporal Vortex and other long-duration instances, Heretical Ruins, Grave of Rot Disadvantageous Environment: PVP Arena, Goblin Lair, Grave of Venom, Grave of Curse Ancestral Ruins: Summon, Buff, Healing, Enhance |
