In Dragonsaerie, Artifacts are a huge part of the entire game. You can unlock them at level 30, letting you equip gold or even red Artifacts even if your other pieces of equipment are still blue. This gives you a big leg up during early game progression.
Artifact Categories: Artifacts come in four main types: Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and Exclusive.
Exclusive artifacts can only be used by six specific heroes. They pack powerful effects that significantly boost those designated heroes. However, they're tough to get, so we won't be covering them in this guide.
Universal ArtifactsThese are your most flexible artifacts, staying effective no matter which hero you swap them onto. For most players, while these might not be the absolute best for every setup, they offer excellent value. In the first season, when Essence of Creation is limited, it's smart to prioritize these. Don't bother pouring a lot of enhancements into Purple Epic artifacts; they work just fine without them. (Within each quality tier, aim for the ones at the top of the list first when exchanging).

Advanced RecommendationsCompared to universal artifacts, these are more dependent on specific heroes or situations. However, some can really shine in the right team setups and dungeons. Since Essence of Creation is often limited, we don't recommend these for players with only a few summons. Purple artifacts are basically just temporary gear; don't bother upgrading them much, and their order here doesn't really matter.

The artifacts listed above can only be used by heroes of their specific element, and trading for them requires Soul Imprints from heroes of that same element.
Go ahead and exchange for these if you've got extra Soul Imprints lying around; otherwise, other artifacts are generally a better bet.
