How to Obtain Equipment
- Dungeon

Difficulties 1-3 drop blue equipment, 3-8 give purple and blue, 9-14 offer gold and purple, and 15+ is where red drops start. Your Ultimate end-game equipment is three gold pieces plus one red piece, so in the early game, levels 9-14 will be your go-to dungeons for farming. The equipment you pick up there will serve you well for a while. Don't sweat it too much if you can consistently farm gold gear but struggle with bosses above level 15. Just keep grinding for gold equipment to perfect your attributes, then hit level 15+ to get that final red Mythic Equipment piece.
- Forge

There are 4 different forging types, depending on the materials you use. You can pretty much ignore Forge I, as you'll quickly upgrade your equipment to blue anyway. You can use Tempering Sand, which you get from dungeons, to forge equipment for the corresponding slots.
- Token Purchase
In the Exchange Shop, you can trade tokens for equipment-related resources like Ore, which is available in various shops such as the Alliance Shop, Journey Shop, and more.
Equipment Enhancement and Slot Characteristics You get 6 pieces of equipment (see the image for details). The helmet's primary attribute is always HP, and the weapon's primary attribute is always ATK. When you upgrade equipment tiers (e.g. from blue to purple, or purple to gold), you can enhance them and start using them as soon as you get the set you want. Armor and Gloves are a bit trickier: Armor's primary attribute: ATK, ATK%, HP, HP%, DEF, DEF, DEF%,Effect Hit, Effect Resistance, Proficiency Gloves' primary attribute: ATK, ATK%, HP, HP%, DEF, DEF, DEF%,Crit Rate, Crit Damage Positive Rune's primary attribute: ATK, HP, DEF, Proficiency, Crit Damage Negative Rune's primary attribute: ATK, HP, DEF, Effect Hit, Effect Resistance Every hero has their own preferred attributes, so you should customize their equipment to match their needs. The special primary attributes for each equipment slot are highlighted above. For example: tanks that need Effect Hit, you could choose Armor with Effect Hit as its primary attribute, and use Gloves to boost their HP% or DEF%.
Next up, let's look at Positive and Negative Runes: Positive Rune's primary attribute: ATK, HP, DEF, Proficiency, Crit Damage Negative Rune's primary attribute: ATK, HP, DEF, Effect Hit, Effect Resistance You can swap out primary attributes of Runes flexibly based on your equipment. Some values have caps, such as Effect Hit—stacking it beyond the necessary amount won't do much good (unless you're going for the Mythic equipment shown in the image).
So, you can be flexible with your Rune choices. If your baseline attributes aren't hitting the mark, Runes can help push them up. If they're already good, you can use Runes to boost more valuable primary attributes. Unique secondary attributes in Runes: Skill Haste Attack Speed
These two attributes are only found as secondary attributes on Runes (apart from Artifacts and Sets). Out of them, Skill Haste is useful for everyone, so we highly recommend looking for Runes with that attribute for your builds.
Equipment Enhancement Techniques Once you've got equipment sets with the right primary attributes, you'll want to fine-tune the secondary attributes to really boost your hero's performance. A lot of players just max out enhancement the second they get the right primary attributes, only to see hardly any improvement. Doing this over and over drains your Gold fast, which is why many players complain about being short on Gold in the late game. First off, figure out which piece of your equipment has the worst secondary attributes, then farm the relevant dungeon to replace it. When you do get a set with the correct primary attributes, don't just max it out right away. Instead, level it up to 4 first to unlock an extra attribute. At this point, all the attribute slots on that equipment will be visible. Compare a few pieces that have the right primary attributes and pick the one with the best combination of attributes to keep enhancing. This way, you won't blow through your Gold so quickly. |
