Lineup Examples The battle against the Eye of the Deep is a challenge mode focusing on a single boss, where the goal is to deal maximum damage within 8 minutes. Heroes with strong single-target abilities like Ice Blast, Wild, and Dauntless, as well as those with powerful continuous damage like Aura and Poison, are highly recommended for travelers. You can also inflict massive damage with a full set of Legendary heroes from Rally, Shadow, and Corrosion. And since the boss's damage increases over time, include 2-3 support heroes to keep your Damage heroes alive for 8 minutes straight. You can choose from the six options below based on the available heroes. The best lineups are: Acilia + Synarell + Wild/Rally/Aura Heroes x3 Ardreth + Rose + Wild/Rally/Aura Heroes x3 Khrysos + Gillian + Wild/Rally/Aura Heroes x3 Torrin + Ghul'ende + Shadow/Dauntless Heroes x3 Zeffi + Estella + Shadow/Dauntless Heroes x3 Frurbath + Oggok + Ice Blast/Corrosion/Poison Heroes x3 Fenya + Aladiah + Ice Blast/Corrosion/Poison Heroes x3 Galyan/Heksandra + Felosia + Ice Blast/Corrosion/Poison Heroes x3 Attributes: On average, your heroes should have over 35,000 HP and over 1,200 DEF. Debuff-inflicting heroes should have more than 320 Accuracy. (When your Alliance has over 875,000 Exploration Progress in The Other Sea, you'll obtain a buff that provides +40 Accuracy. This effect doesn't show up in the configuration panel, but it is always active in combat, so having more than 280 Accuracy in the panel is good enough.) In-Game Demonstration: The following clip is from the author's actual gameplay, which offers recommended lineups and substitutions for travelers without a full set of Legendary heroes, as well as examples of aura, positioning, equipment, and skill timing in auto-combat.

Wild: Lineup: Flora + Acilia + Synarell + Tonalnan + Felicity Aura: Flora- ATK Aura Positioning Example:

Note: Since my Errich was low-level, I used Tonalnan instead. With maxed skill levels and inspired Legendary heroes, the optimal Damage heroes are Flora, Felicity, and Errich. Hero Substitute Example:

Equipment Example: Note: Due to the limited types of Artifacts owned by the author, Flora is using Queen's Fan as a substitute for her exclusive Artifact, the Esoteric Pearl Necklace, which is more recommended. If it's not a struggle to get enough Accuracy for Synarell, the Dawn Pipe Organ or Gatekeeper's Staff are also good Artifact choices.

 Auto-Combat Skill Timing Example:

Ice Blast:
Lineup: Galyan + Aladiah + Zhorak + Shinnah + Gerthin
Aura: No available Auras
Positioning Example:

Note: As I do not have Felosia and Beldelle, I substituted them with Aladiah and Gerthin. Since the boss applies debuffs like Shield Prohibition and Healing Prohibition, this lineup lacks means to dispel debuffs. Therefore, it's best to manually control the timing of Aladiah and Galyan's ultimate skills to ensure allies' survival.
For stable auto-combat, it is recommended to use Fenya as a superior substitute for Galyan, or replace Zhorak with Vicuc. Vicuc releases his ultimate skill every 30 seconds, which dispels debuffs from our heroes and provides a significant amount of healing to the allies when the boss charges the final skill.

Equipment Example:

Poison:
Lineup: Frurbath + Oggok + Corrin + Durango + Lothair
Aura: Lothair - Enlightenment Aura
Positioning Example:

Note: In this lineup, if Corrin's Skill Haste cannot be increased to 150 or above, Twitch is recommended as a replacement to help maintain the Poison state. In this case, Twitch's recommended Artifact is the Ri'kir Poison Dart. When paired with a Poison lineup, Frurbath triggers passive skills for Healing and Debuff Dispelling more often, which is a more practical option than Legendary heroes. Hero Substitute Example:

Recommended Equipment: Note: If there's no pressure getting enough Accuracy for Oggok, consider swapping the artifact for Gatekeeper's Staff, Everlasting Diamond, Holy Acorn, or other Artifacts that enhance Healing capabilities.

 Auto-Combat Skill Timing Example:

Aura: Lineup: Ardreth + Rose + Diantha + Lincos + Aemonleyda Aura: Diantha - ATK Aura Positioning Example:

Note: Aura is another new build from this season that performs well in sustained combat. However, since most heroes in this build deal AoE damage, their ability to deal single-target damage is sloppier than other recommended lineups with a complete set of Legendary heroes. If other builds already have a full set of Legendary heroes, it is suggested to avoid using an Aura lineup. Hero Substitute Example:

Recommended Equipment: Note: Since I have limited types of artifacts, Aemonleyda is using Envoy's Wing as a substitute for her exclusive Artifact, Silver Pearl Casket, which is more recommended. Instead, Lincos should equip Envoy's Wing.

 Auto-Combat Skill Timing Example:

Dauntless: Lineup: Nathaniel + Thia + Iola + Ivellios + Tharivol Aura: Iola - ATK Aura Positioning Example:

Note: Since I don't have Zeffi and Nastjenka, the epic support hero combination of Nathaniel, Thia, and Iola can be a substitute to ensure the heroes' survival. It's important to note that Thia's skills only affect ranged heroes. If most of the deployed Dauntless heroes are melee, it's advisable to use a survival support hero combination of Torrin and Ghul'ende or Zeffi and Torrin. Then, substitute Iola with another Dauntless hero and equip the Witch's Remains on heroes who can deal multiple damages with their Ultimate Skill to further boost this lineup's output. Hero Substitute Example:

 Auto-Combat Skill Timing Example:

Shadow: Lineup: Ghul'ende + Torrin + Ozul + Aspalta + Daphne Aura: Aspalta - ATK Aura Positioning Example:

Note: Shadow heroes rely on unique Shadow Energy to release their ultimate skill, so they are not affected by the boss's fifth skill that reduces Ultimate Energy. Hero Substitute Example:

Other Recommended Lineup: Since I don't have the specific Legendary heroes and the used heroes are excluded, the following two lineups haven't been used in this demonstration. However, they are powerful lineups that can deal damage over time, especially the Corrosion, considered the best this season. Travelers with a complete set of Legendary heroes are highly recommended to use these lineups. Rally Lineup: Acilia + Synarell + Thelendor + Lorentheel + Alton Aura: Lorentheel - Crit Damage Aura Positioning Example:

Note: If Thelendor is unavailable, Philto or Huberg can be substitute as the main damage dealer. In these cases, Loren's recommended artifact would be the Dawn Pipe Organ to increase the attack of main Damage heroes. Hero Substitute Example:

Auto-Combat Skill Timing Example:

Corrosion Lineup: Frurbath + Oggok + Rook + Whisk + Dargo Aura: Rook - ATK Aura Positioning Example:

Note: If Whisk is unavailable, you can deploy Sacredeia instead. In this lineup, Sacredeia's recommended artifacts would be the Swamp Toadstool or Dawn Pipe Organ. If Sacredeia replaces Whisk, Dargo should use the Witch's Remains with enough Accuracy instead. Hero Substitute Example:
