Season 3 Pillar of Trial - Pillar of Dark Guide

时间:2024-06-05 16:52:12  来源:  作者:

In season 3, due to the rotation of Elemental Affinities and the introduction of more new heroes, we will have to change the way we build our lineups to take on new challenges in the Pillar of Trial. In Pillar of Dark, both you and your opponent must use only Lightning and Necrosis heroes. In this guide, we'll showcase several lineups perfect for taking on the challenge of Pillar of Dark. Additionally, we'll offer suggestions and examples for your reference.

Reward Overview:

Total rewards from Floor 1 to Floor 60 are: Affinity Solvent ×25,000, Starlight Stone Dice ×12, Heliolite Dice ×3, Essence of Creation ×4,600, Wyrmarrow ×360, Large EXP Potion ×38, Apprentice Scroll ×3, Scholar Scroll ×2, Master Scroll ×1, Precious Tempering Sand ×40, Philosopher's Stone III ×10, Refined Tempering Sand ×20, and Philosopher's Stone II ×5.
When you have completed 60 floors in Pillar of Trial, you'll receive Baelvernal, a Necrosis support hero.

When you have completed 180 floors in Pillar of Trial, you'll receive Elite's Key, a legendary artifact.

Boss Information

Each floor in the Pillar of Trial includes three waves. The third wave of every 10 floors is a boss fight. The Pillar of Dark boss fights include Pillar Warden: Dark and two Radiance elements. Here are the in-game mechanics and how you can handle these enemies:

Recommended Lineups

[Details]
1. The gameplay of Pillar of Trial mainly tests your team's AOE burst damage capability. If you can eliminate multiple enemies in the first round after using your ultimate skills, the challenge difficulty will decrease significantly. Therefore, it's recommended that you build teams around the Summon, Thunderbolt, and Shadow comps and focus on DPS.
2. The skill level of your heroes is very important, except for Shadow comps with high development. After Floor 40, if the skill level of your ultimate skill is low, it will be difficult to take action before the enemy uses their ultimate skill.
3. On the boss floor (every 10 floors), it is best to replace heroes that focus on Control abilities with support heroes that have Debuff abilities and are able to inflict Attack Penalty since the boss is immune to all Control Effects.
4. It's best to stack Accuracy for heroes whose ultimate skills can deal multiple instances of damage. Also, equip those heroes with Witch's Remains or Crown of the Unclean to raise the team's damage output.
5. Even on Floor 60, the monsters have only 250 Resistance. If your heroes responsible for inflicting Debuffs have more than 280 Accuracy, you can consider removing some equipment with Accuracy as its main stat and stacking other attributes instead.

Control:

Since the Pillar of Trial gives plenty of challenge time and there are many epic heroes capable of AOE Control Effects in the Lightning & Necrosis Elemental Affinity combo, even if the lineup does not include all of the Summon, Thunderbolt, and Shadow comps, you can also build a team around these heroes with Control abilities for low-investment clears. Alternate the release of their ultimate skills to keep the enemy in various Control and Debuff states to grind down enemy HP.
Recommended Control Lineup: Quaesitia + Baelvernal + Zhar'loth + Ghul'ende + Iola
When fighting the floor with the boss, it is best to replace Quaesitia with Irma to provide DMG Reduction and Control Immunity to teammates;
You can also choose your team from among Bionphray, Fathomdown, Stanguem, Naguk, Tamar, Zeffi, Berengar, and Ripekas based on the heroes you own and their investment level.

Equipment Example:

Example of Equipment Stats:

Summon:

Heroes from the Summon comps generally have good sustained AOE damage output. However, most heroes in this comps have relatively weaker burst capabilities and need summoned units to deal more damage. This makes it challenging to quickly eliminate most enemies on higher floors, making it difficult for the team to survive. However, if you own most heroes in this comps, give Irzillas defensive equipment to act as a tank and add an additional support hero to enhance the team’s survival ability. This will allow the lineup to easily clear the Pillar of Dark.
Recommended Heroes:

Dauntless:

Dauntless comps heroes excel in single-target boss fights, but the Pillar of Trial involves numerous monsters in multiple rounds, including boss floors that require defeating two waves of minions before facing the boss. Beyond Floor 40, even with a full roster, the Dauntless comps will struggle to survive and deal damage, so this comps is not recommended for the Pillar of Dark.

Thunderbolt:

Heroes from the Thunderbolt comps excel at dealing AOE damage by triggering Electrocuted. A well-built Thunderbolt comps can efficiently clear the Pillar of Dark. However, the comps is highly dependent on Perkunte, and using other substitutes can decrease overall damage capability. This comps is only recommended for Travelers with a complete roster.
Recommended Heroes:

Shadow:

The Shadow comps is a powerful new DPS comps from this season. It is characterized by strong AOE burst capabilities and fast ultimate skill recharge, making it a good choice for clearing the Pillar of Dark.
Among them, the legendary hero Aspalta's passive skill provides a high damage bonus to teammates from the same comps at the start of each wave in the Pillar of Dark. However, due to poor survival ability, challenges on higher floors require using equipment with HP% stats to ensure survival. If survival pressure is high, Aspalta can be replaced with support heroes like Ghul'ende to enhance the team's survival ability.

Stage Clearing Examples:

*This demo lineup is a Shadow comps lineup.

Key Takeaways:

1. Using the recommended Shadow comps lineup as an example, use Quaesitia as the main DPS and spread out the backline heroes to avoid taking damage. This example lineup is cleared up to Floor 50 using auto-combat and is highly recommended.
2. For skill rotation, first use Iola’s ultimate skill to apply Attack Penalty to multiple enemies and trigger the Witch's Remains artifact effect to apply Defense Penalty. Next, use Daphne’s ultimate skill to possess Ozul and provide a significant Attack boost. Finally, unleash Ozul’s ultimate skill to kill enemies. Alternate the release of Quaesitia's and Iola's ultimate skills to keep the enemy under Attack Penalty. Use Torrin's ultimate skill when the team’s HP is low.
3. When only one or two small enemies remain, kill them slowly so that your heroes will be ready to use their ultimate skills when the next wave of enemies spawns.
4. When challenging the boss floor, consider using Irma or Stanguem as tanks. These heroes can provide long-term Control Immunity for the team, which can counter the boss's Fear Control tactics.

[Recommended Team Configuration]

Basic Attributes:

HP > 35,000 and DEF > 1,300 for all heroes in your team;
HP > 90,000 and DEF > 2,000 for Quaesitia;
At Floor 57 and above, enemies have a Resistance of 250. If you want to clear all the way up to Floor 60, heroes responsible for inflicting Debuff or Control Effects must have over 270 Accuracy.

Equipment Example:

Note: Ozul plus Daphne's damage output is quite sufficient. If Iola is struggling to survive, once her Accuracy meets the requirement, prioritize stacking some DEF and HP.

Example of Equipment Stats:

Positioning Example:

Standard Positioning:
This example team primarily used this positioning to clear stages. Torrin is positioned behind Quaesitia, providing her with additional DEF and HP through his passive skill, allowing Quaesitia to tank enemy attacks in the frontline by herself and attract melee enemies, so other ultimate skills can hit more enemies.

Handling Enemy Quaesitia—Floor 59 as an example:
1. Adjust positioning so that Torrin, who has Invisible and relatively stronger survival abilities, stands at the very back to tank Quaesitia's battle skill attacks. Position the other backline heroes outside the range of the enemy Quaesitia's ultimate skill.
2. Also, stack Resistance above 260 for heroes close to the enemy Quaesitia to resist Control from her battle skills.

Control Lineup Positioning—Floor 58 as an example:
Spread out the backline Control heroes to avoid taking damage, while the frontline tanks should be positioned to gather enemies, allowing the Control skills to hit more enemies.
