Season 3 Pillar of Trial - Pillar of Light Guide

时间:2024-06-05 16:26:29  来源:  作者:

In season 3, due to the rotation of Elemental Affinities and the introduction of more new heroes, we will have to change the way we build our lineups to take on new challenges in the Pillar of Trial. In Pillar of Light, both you and your opponent must use only Fire and Radiance heroes. In this guide, we'll showcase several lineups perfect for taking on the challenge of Pillar of Light. Additionally, we'll offer suggestions and examples for your reference.

Reward Overview:

Total rewards from Floor 1 to Floor 60 are: Affinity Solvent ×25,000, Starlight Stone Dice ×12, Heliolite Dice ×3, Essence of Creation ×4,600, Wyrmarrow ×360, Large EXP Potion ×38, Apprentice Scroll ×3, Scholar Scroll ×2, Master Scroll ×1, Precious Tempering Sand ×40, Philosopher's Stone III ×10, Refined Tempering Sand ×20, and Philosopher's Stone II ×5.
When you have completed 60 floors in Pillar of Trial, you'll receive Baelvernal, a Necrosis support hero.

When you have completed 180 floors in Pillar of Trial, you'll receive Elite's Key, a legendary artifact.

Boss Information

Each floor in the Pillar of Trial includes three waves. The third wave of every 10 floors is a boss fight. The Pillar of Light boss fights include Pillar Warden: Light and two Radiance elements. Here are the in-game mechanics and how you can handle these enemies:

Recommended Lineups

[Details]
1. The gameplay of Pillar of Trial mainly tests your team's AOE burst damage capability. If you can eliminate multiple enemies in the first round after using your ultimate skills, the challenge difficulty will decrease significantly. Therefore, it's recommended that you build teams around the Rally, Burn, and Aura comps and focus on DPS.
2. The skill level of your heroes is very important. After Floor 40, if the skill level of your ultimate skill is low, it will be difficult to take action before the enemy uses their ultimate skill.
3. On the boss floor (every 10 floors), it is best to replace heroes that focus on Control abilities with support heroes that have Debuff abilities and are able to inflict Attack Penalty, since the boss is immune to all Control Effects.
4. It's best to stack Accuracy for heroes whose ultimate skills can deal multiple instances of damage. Also, equip those heroes with Witch's Remains or Crown of the Unclean to raise the team's damage output.
5. Even on Floor 60, the monsters have only 250 Resistance. If your heroes responsible for inflicting Debuffs have more than 280 Accuracy, you can consider removing some equipment with Accuracy as its main stat and stacking other attributes instead.

Rally:

Heroes of the Rally comp can work together to deal high AOE burst damage. The epic heroes of this comps are quite strong and will perform very well in the Pillar of Light. In addition, because Philto's ultimate skill has strong burst capability and recharges quickly, it may be even stronger in the Pillar of Light than that of Thelendor, though Thelendor has a unique artifact.
Recommended Heroes:

Wild:

Wild comps heroes excel in single-target boss fights, but the Pillar of Trial involves numerous monsters in multiple rounds, including boss floors that require defeating two waves of minions before facing the boss. The Pillar of Light boss also gains significant DMG Reduction when both Radiance elements are still alive. Beyond Floor 40, even with a full roster, the Wild comps will struggle to survive and output deal damage, so this comps is not recommended for the Pillar of Light.

Burn:

Heroes of the Burn comps also excel at dealing AOE damage, especially with the legendary heroes, Karf and Aschetius, who can deal massive damage to all enemies on the field the moment they use their ultimate skills. However, the comps is highly dependent on Aschetius, and using other substitutes can decrease the overall damage capability. This comps is only recommended for Travelers with a complete roster.
Recommended Heroes:

Aura:

The Aura comps is a powerful new DPS school introduced this season. It includes members with excellent AOE damage capabilities. The downside is that members need to accumulate Aura Energy to enter the Blaze state to unleash their full power, resulting in a longer burst cycle. However, even without legendary heroes, this comps’ performances are commendable, making it a good choice for Travelers.
Recommended Heroes:

Other Legendary Hero Options:

In addition to the previously mentioned legendary heroes, the following heroes also perform well in the Pillar of Light. If your team is struggling to stay alive during the challenge, consider swapping some of the DPS heroes for the following:

Stage Clearing Examples:

*This demo lineup is a Rally comps lineup.

Key Takeaways:

1. Using the recommended Rally comps lineup as an example, use Garius as the main DPS and position the backline heroes to avoid taking damage at the beginning so they can deal damage. This example lineup cleared up to Floor 54 using auto-combat and is highly recommended.
2. Adjust the positions to attract and gather enemies so that Philto's ultimate skill can hit 3-5 enemies simultaneously. Prioritize using Rose’s ultimate skill to apply Attack Penalty to a large number of enemies and trigger the Witch's Remains artifact effect to apply Defense Penalty. Use Lorentheel’s ultimate skill to provide Philto with the Attack Up status. Finally, use Philto’s ultimate skill to instantly kill off enemies within range.
3. When only one or two small enemies remain, kill them slowly so that your heroes will be ready to use their ultimate skills when the next wave of enemies spawns.
4. If you don’t own Rose, use Gumm as a substitute. Gumm's ultimate skill can also deal multiple instances of damage to a wide range of targets to trigger the Witch's Remains artifact effect. Use Gumm's ultimate skill to stun enemies before the enemies use their ultimate skills, buying more time for other team members to deal damage.

[Recommended Team Configuration]

Basic Attributes:

HP > 35,000 and DEF > 1,300 for all heroes on your team;
HP > 70,000 and DEF > 3,000 for Garius. If his HP significantly exceeds 70,000, DEF can be lowered;
At Floor 57 and above, enemies have a Resistance of 250. If you want to clear all the way up to Floor 60, heroes responsible for inflicting Debuff or Control Effects must have over 270 Accuracy.

Equipment Example:

Note: Since Adolphus in this example lineup has not reached the Level 90 breakthrough, he is not equipped with Negative Runes and he can still use the Flash Gold Vest as his artifact.
