Chaos Shadows is the most important source of Exploration Progress in the Otherworld Exploration's The Other Sea phase. So long as you can deal 7 million damage in a single run, you can earn more basic yields than what you get from other game modes. Once you have finished your daily exploration, you do not need to participate in the other two game modes. And if you can deal 22 million damage in a single run, you can even skip the other two game modes altogether.
This guide will list out 15 teams capable of easily reaching 22 million DMG in a single hit, offering Travelers hero pairing examples.

Reward Overview: Chaos Shadows consists of six types of bosses, which spawn in Sea of the Dead for you to fight. Based on the total damage you deal to these bosses, you'll earn different tiers of rewards;

Battle Preparation [Recommended Level and Equipment] ●Recommended Level During the event, distribute EXP Potions wisely to develop multiple lineups. DPS heroes and tank heroes at the Lv. 90 breakthrough is sufficient. Support heroes without the need for Accuracy or Resistance attributes can be at the Lv. 70 breakthrough. ●Equipment Requirements The whole team is recommended to be equipped with fully-refined Legendary quality gear (+20). If possible, prioritize Mythic Equipment like Precisive Carnage Gauntlets and Moonlight Mantle that have the right attributes for your deployed heroes. Absolute Deterrence, Tunnel King's Cloak also have excellent effects against certain bosses. [Key Attribute Reference] 1. Ideally, the average HP of your heroes should be over 30,000. 2. It is recommended that your tanks should have over 70,000 HP and 2,000 DEF. If the tank's HP is sufficiently high, the DEF requirement can be slightly reduced. For every 10,000 HP above the recommended HP level, DEF can be decreased by 500, but it is advised not to go below 1,500 DEF. 3. Heroes responsible for inflicting Debuffs or Control effects, or removing Shields or Buffs should have Accuracy >280 to make sure that these counter skills have a higher success rate. [About The Boss]

Suggestions: 1. Each hero can be deployed only one time per day, so make sure to take the boss's weak elements into consideration when configuring your team. Based on the development progress of your heroes, you can get a rough estimate of how many of your teams can defeat each boss. 2. Since the highest-tier reward give more than double the Exploration Progress compared to the tier below, if you only have a few developed teams, it's advised to first ensure that your main teams for each element can obtain the high-tier rewards before building other teams; 3. Since Chaos Shadows only requires a single damage instance of 22 million for its highest tier reward, if a challenge team can deal far beyond 22 million DMG in a single hit, consider splitting premium heroes up into multiple teams to obtain more highest-tier rewards; 4. Make sure that your DPS heroes counter the boss's element. As for non-DPS heroes, you can use whatever you want with much flexibility. 5. Some support heroes, if equipped with offensive equipment, can also act as DPS to help make up for that missing damage. 6. If you cannot deal at least 7 million DMG in a single hit, you should use your Moonlight Crayfish to complete daily exploration and Elemental Domains at Difficulty 5 after finishing one Chaos Shadows challenge. 7. After achieving 22 million DMG in a single run, you can click the gear button at the top right corner and exit the battle to directly enter the damage settlement interface. You can save your damage and then claim rewards, thus saving challenge time.

Team Building Strategies 1. Elemental Affinity can provide significant attribute bonuses. Make sure that every team lineup can trigger the five-hero Elemental Affinity effect when building your teams; 2. When forming team lineups, consider using 213 survival class support heroes with 2-3 DPS heroes of the same comps; 3. Since the bosses are immune to all control effects and permanently gains a Total Damage Bonus after using their ultimate skills, so any hero who can inflict Ultimate Down or inflict Recharging Speed Penalty will be helpful. 4. Aim to evenly distribute strength across your teams, forming more teams that can reach 22 million DMG in a single hit.
