Season 3 Otherworld Exploration - Elemental Domain: Fire Guide

时间:2024-05-27 14:36:33  来源:  作者:

This Otherworld Exploration game mode offers three Elemental Domains, each with five levels of difficulty. The boss skills in each domain replicate those of some Legendary heroes, and these bosses are immune to all Control effects, while enemies in these stages take 50% more damage from two element types.
In Elemental Domain: Fire, all enemies take 50% more Lightning and Necrotic Damage. In the first two rounds, the enemies' ultimate skills significantly enhance their survivability. In the third round, the boss deals high single damage and coordinates with backline minions to pose a great threat to our tanks.
This article will focus on lineups consisting of easily accessible rare and epic heroes, offering suggestions that aim at completing the in-game content on difficulty level 5. Meanwhile, we'll give some examples of excellent lineups that can complete auto-combat with ease.

Elemental Domain - Fire

I. About The Boss

II. Stage Clearing Configuration

[Recommended Level and Equipment]

Recommended Level
It is recommended that you try this when the overall level of your team reaches 90.
Equipment Requirements
You should aim for fully refined (+20) equipment for all allied heroes. If you have mythic equipment with the right attributes, such as Massif Colossus, Precisive Carnage Gauntlets, and Moonlight Mantle, it's highly recommended to equip them for this stage.

Key Attribute Reference

1. Ideally, the average HP of your heroes should be over 35,000.
2. Ideally, tanks should have HP >70,000 and DEF >2,500. If the tank hero's HP is high enough, the requirement for DEF can be slightly reduced. For every 10,000 HP above the recommended standard, DEF can be reduced by 500, but it's advised not to go below 1,500 DEF.
3. Heroes responsible for applying debuffs should have more than 320 Accuracy.

II. Recommended Lineups

Shadow:

Lineup: Irma + Estella + Iola + Taldie + Tatoth
Positioning Reference:

Description: If Irma alone in the front row struggles a lot to survive, let Estella stack Enlightenment plus DEF and HP as much as possible and adjust her position to the very front to help Irma absorb some of the damage.
Recommended Legendary Heroes:

Summon:

Lineup: Irma + Estella + Iola + Zhar'loth + Zadok
Positioning Reference:

Description: As shown in the image, for positioning, Irma and Estella stand in the front row to absorb most of the damage, with Zadok positioned in the center to quickly eliminate minions in the first two rounds using his ultimate skill. Iola and Zhar'loth take turns to use their ultimate skills to keep enemies inflicted with Control effects.
Recommended Legendary Heroes:

Thunderbolt:

Lineup: Perkunte + Shai'nachtan + Irma + Estella + Iola
Positioning Reference:

Description: Since the Thunderbolt faction lacks Rare and Epic heroes capable of instantly killing backline enemies, this build is only recommended to those who have a complete set of Legendary heroes of this faction.
Shai'nachtan applies Electrocution to enemies and uses his ultimate skill to provide Perkunte—a hero of the same faction—with Attack Up, thereby helping Perkunte quickly eliminate all enemies with his ultimate skill.

Dauntless:

Lineup: Irma + Estella + Iola + Schaltar + Shagrol
Positioning Reference:

Description: As shown in the image, for positioning, avoid the main DPS from taking most of the damage. Use Shagrol's ultimate skill to prioritize killing the enemy Liko in the first round and Gumm in the second round.
Recommended Legendary Heroes:

III. Examples

*This section uses a lineup of the newly added Shadow faction as an example.

Team Aura
In this stage, the sample team only has Iola's Attack Aura available. If high-quality heroes are deployed, other Auras with higher attribute bonuses can be chosen.
Equipment

Food Improvement
When your team is not fully fledged, your heroes will have trouble surviving and dealing damage, so we recommend you use [Aquitaine Meat Pie], which is made of Elf Wheat ×2 and Wild Boar Meat ×1. It can give you +10% HP and +5% ATK for 600 seconds.
Stage Clearing Tips
1. Since Iola's ultimate skill can deal damage to all enemies three times, it's easier to trigger the Witch's Remains. We recommend you first use Iola's ultimate skill to trigger the Witch's Remains effect, applying a Defense Penalty to all enemies to increase the damage dealt by DPS heroes.
2. Since Taldie can provide Tatoth with Shadow Energy after using his ultimate skill. It is recommended to first use Tatoth's ultimate skill, then use Taldie's ultimate skill to avoid wasting the Shadow Energy provided by Taldie's ultimate skill.
3. Since Estella's ultimate skill provides healing over time to allies for 6 seconds, do not use this ultimate skill just before entering the next round of challenge. Otherwise, it will interrupt the casting and fail to provide sufficient healing for teammates.
4. Since the minions in the first round will inflict Buff Prohibition, avoid using Irma's ultimate skill at this time for the Damage Reduction effect to register.
5. After killing Gumm, the remaining minions in the second round don't deal that much damage, allowing you to kill them more slowly to ensure that all team members' ultimate skills are available when entering the third round, which is the boss fight.
6. Use Iola's ultimate skill about 5 seconds before the boss uses its second skill. This not only applies Attack Penalty to the boss but also controls the other two enemies preventing them from using skills, thus avoiding the boss from gaining Fireheart, significantly reducing the threat of the boss's second skill to our tanks.
7. Consider using Control Skills as an emergency measure to provide AoE Shield to prevent allies from dying.

IV. Auto-Combat Examples

*Advanced lineups of the Shadow, Summoning, and Thunderbolt factions can clear stages while in auto-combat more reliably. This section will demonstrate the newly added Shadow faction for this season.

Recommended Lineup

Lineup: Fathomdown + Torrin + Aspalta + Daphne + Ozul
Positioning Reference:

Team Aura
Here, use the Attack Aura of either Daphne or Fathomdown, which can increase the ATK of all your heroes by 45% in this stage.
Sample Lineup
This lineup is built around the Shadow heroes added in Season 3. They use skills frequently and deal high burst damage, making them very suitable for quick clearing via auto-combat.
Fathomdown, besides absorbing most of the damage as a tank, can also apply AoE Control and Attack Penalty to enemies, thus helping DPS heroes deal more damage.
Aspalta's passive skill can provide damage bonuses that wear off over time to Shadow allies at the start of each round of challenge, and can also replenish Shadow Energy for all Shadow allies through her ultimate skill.
If your heroes are well-developed enough, since enemies can be quickly eliminated, the survival pressure won't be significant. If your DPS heroes struggle to survive, Ghul'ende can replace Aspalta.
Ghul'ende and Fathomdown can take turns to use ultimate skills to keep enemies continuously inflicted with Attack Penalty while providing more healing and control measures for our team, thus ensuring the survival of our team members.
Daphne can provide a high Attack bonus to Ozul by possessing him with her ultimate skill. Ozul's ultimate skill can instantly cause a high burst of damage before transforming into a demon form for a period of time. In demon form, he can continuously deal considerable AoE damage to quickly eliminate all enemies.

Skill Timing
Make sure Daphne uses her ultimate skill before Ozul. No special settings needed.
If you replace Aspalta with Ghul'ende, let Fathomdown and Ghul'ende's take turns to use their ultimate skills instead, keeping enemies continuously inflicted with Attack Penalty, allowing more room for mistakes in auto-combat.

[Configurations]

Recommended Level
The overall level of your team should be about 90.
Key Attributes
Fathomdown HP >90,000, DEF >1,500.
All of the deployed heroes should have over 35,000 HP.
Fathomdown Accuracy >320.
Equipment
Description: Since Shadow heroes gain Shadow Energy by dealing damage, Aspalta can stack Attack Speed to frequently use her ultimate skill, providing Shadow Energy to teammates of the same faction.
If you replace Fathomdown with another tank whose ultimate skill does not deal multiple instances of damage, equip Witch's Remains to Aspalta.
