The Otherworld Exploration, Song of the Mystic Sea, has been released for Season 3. By completing the tutorial quest, you can access the seasonal sandbox called Sea of the Dead and start on the new story. During the phase,The Other Sea, you'll explore and get ready. Once you've progressed to theRematch with the Abyssolossus phase, you can head to Crystalfall Pit and challenge the Eye of the Deep: Abyssolossus.

[Rematch with the Abyssolossus]Here are the requirements for unlocking Rematch with the Abyssolossus: When the progress of all three game modes for The Other Sea has reached max, the Rematch with the Abyssolossus phase will be unlocked the next day. If you are not able to make enough progress, this new phase will still become available once a fixed number of days have passed.
*In this phase, you can challenge Eye of the Deep: Abyssolossus in Sea of the Dead to earn abundant rewards.
Overview of The Other SeaIn this phase, there are three game modes: Adventure Preparation, Elemental Domain, and Chaos Shadows. By completing a challenge, players can earn Exploration Progress while also contributing to Server Progress. When the Server Progress of all types of progress reaches max, all players will get additional buffs, which is a 15% increase in ATK, DEF, and HP, during Rematch with the Abyssolossus phase.
Here are the requirements for unlocking Rematch with the Abyssolossus: When the progress of all three game modes has reached max, the second phase will be unlocked the next day. If you are not able to make enough progress, the new phase will still become available once a fixed number of days have passed.
Moonlight Crayfish: This is an item exclusive to Otherworld Exploration, used for replenishing up to 150 Stamina. Moonlight Crayfish are fully restored each day at the daily refresh. Participating in any game mode requires Moonlight Crayfish.
[Game Modes Introduction]
[Exploration Quest]The Exploration Quests include Daily Exploration, In-depth Exploration, and Alliance Exploration. You will also earn Exploration Progress by completing these quests.
Elemental Domain
As shown in the image, Sea of the Dead offers three Elemental Domains. The bosses' skills reimagine those of certain legendary heroes. Meanwhile, the bosses are immune to all control effects but will take 50% more DMG from certain elements.
Challenge Recommendations: Rewards for these three Elemental Domains are the same and there is no limit to how many times you can deploy your heroes, so try to clear them all, achieve the highest progress, and earn the most valuable rewards. Every day, after you've earned as many rewards as you possibly can from Chaos Shadows, it is recommended that you spend the remaining Moonlight Crayfish on one Adventure Preparation quest before using the rest on Elemental Domains with the highest difficulty, prioritizing those that you can clear with ease while AFK on difficulty level 5.
Chaos Shadows
Chaos Shadows consists of six types of bosses, which spawn in Sea of the Dead for you to fight. Based on the total damage you deal to these bosses, you'll earn different tiers of rewards. In Chaos Shadows:
1. The six types of boss mechanics in Chaos Shadows are identical to those in Awakening the Spring of Iskalland - Continental Challenge, but the bosses of Chaos Shadow can be challenged as many times as you wish.
2. Each boss takes 100% more DMG from certain elements.
3. Each hero can only be deployed in Chaos Shadows once per day.
4. It is advised to use heroes that stack Accuracy with Accuracy exceeding 280, since they have a higher success rate when inflicting debuffs or control effects, removing shields, or dispelling buffs.
5. Make sure that your DPS heroes counter the boss' element. As for non-DPS heroes, you have the flexibility to choose any that you like.
Exploration Progress and Alliance Buffs
Participating in the various game modes of Otherworld Exploration Progress gives you Exploration Progress. When you have earned enough progress, you can claim the corresponding tier rewards.
Meanwhile, you'll also obtain Alliance Buffs based on the Total Exploration Progress earned by all Alliance members. These buffs are only active in Otherworld Exploration game modes, but they are helpful in improving your performance in Elemental Domains and Chaos Shadows.

Past 150,000 Exploration Progress, for every 45,000 Exploration Progress, you will receive the following nine rewards in an infinite rotation:

Moonlight Crayfish Spending Recommendations
1. Unless you can obtain the highest tier rewards in Chaos Shadows by dealing over 22 million DMG in a single instance and achieve it 15 times, you will need to complete Daily Exploration Quests every day, which is to participate at least once in each of Adventure Preparation, Elemental Domains, and Chaos Shadows;
2. Try to grab the high-tier Chaos Shadows rewards as many times as you can. As long as you can deal 7 million DMG, you will have above-average yields. Each hero can be deployed only once per day, so be sure to check the boss's element and make plans to counter it. Think about how you'll set up your teams and estimate how many teams you’ll need to defeat a boss. It is recommended that you first send your best team of each element to secure higher-end rewards before you consider building other teams.
3. In Chaos Shadows, if you cannot deal at least 7 million DMG, playing Elemental Domains on its highest difficulty level will be the quickest way to earn Exploration Progress.
4. The Exploration Progress yield of Adventure Preparation is lower. You will only need to complete Daily Exploration, In-depth Exploration, and Alliance Exploration (your Alliance needs to have completed Adventure Preparation 1,000 times in total), unless you find Wyrmarrow more valuable than Exploration Progress. |
