In this season, the bosses of the Ancient Battlefield stages now add a passive skill effect where 80% of the damage by basic attacks are converted to Shield. This is one of the highest difficulty regular dungeons each season. With the rotation of Elemental Affinities and the introduction of new heroes, the lineup for clearing stages will need to be adjusted. In this article, we'll walk you through the more easily accessible rare/epic hero lineups, aiming at guiding you to clear the stage on difficulty #9. Meanwhile, we'll give you a legendary hero lineup for reference, which you can use for efficient auto-combat.
I. About The Boss

II. Stage Clearing Configuration [Recommended Level and Equipment] ● Recommended Level The team should reach level 90 overall and a breakthrough before taking on this challenge, with a priority on leveling up tank heroes and main damage dealers to allow more room for mistakes and clear stages faster. ● Equipment Requirements You should aim for fully refined (+20) equipment for all allied heroes. If you have mythic equipment with the right attributes, such as Tunnel King's Cloak, Precise Carnage Gauntlets, Moonlight Battle Robes, or Absolute Deterrence, it's highly recommended to equip them for this stage. Key Attribute Reference 1. Ideally, the average HP of your heroes should be over 50,000. 2. Your main tank should have over 80,000 HP and over 2,500 DEF. 3. Heroes responsible for applying debuffs should have more than Accuracy 220. 4. Heroes relying on stacking immunity to resist boss control effects should have more than 200 Immunity. If you want to clear stages more reliably, you should go for >280 Immunity. If your hero is equipped with the mythic equipment, Absolute Deterrence, then stacking Immunity is not necessary. III. Recommended Lineups Lineup 1 Lineup: Frurbath+Garius+Voresh+Kyrza+Gerthin Positioning Reference:

Description: Due to the extended combat time in early-game stages, there's no need to always use five heroes of the same Elemental Affinity. Frurbath and Garius, two AoE healing tanks who provide almost no buffs, are the core for this lineup. You should prioritize leveling up Frurbath, the main tank. Kyrza can apply Shield Prohibition, preventing the boss from converting damage to Shield in Shield Stance, making it a lot easier for you to clear the stage. Voresh, positioned at the back, is responsible for dispelling boss buffs. By stacking his Immunity to around 280, he can resist the boss's control effects. If equipped with the mythic equipment, Absolute Deterrence, then stacking Immunity is not necessary. Gerthin deals more single-target damage compared to other epic heroes and can be replaced with any output hero that does not provide too many buffs, depending on the situation. Lineup 2 Lineup: Frurbath+Heksandra+Sigrid+Voresh+Gerthin Positioning Reference:

Description: With Season 3's Ice and Poison Elemental Affinity as the core, Frurbath will have to have great survivability stats. The thought process for lineup arrangement is similar to lineup 1, with Heksandra's ultimate skill mainly used to provide AoE healing to allies over time while the boss is constantly dealing AoE damage in Shield Stance. Let Sigrid and Frurbath take turns using their ultimate skills to keep the boss inflicted with Attack Penalty. Since this team lacks a way to counter shields, it will clear stages more slowly. Before you can fully level the Ice and Poison Elemental Affinity, lineup 1 is more recommended. IV. Examples *Using Lineup 1 as an example.

● Team Aura Here, we go with Frurbath's or Garius' DEF Aura to allow more room for mistakes. If your team is more well-developed, you can consider changing it to Gerthin's offensive Aura so you can clear stages faster. ● Equipment

Description: In this sample lineup, Voresh is responsible for stacking Immunity to resist the boss's first skill control effect. This equipment configuration is mainly to ensure Voresh's Immunity and Accuracy meet the requirements. If you have enough of those attributes, consider switching to other equipment sets. If equipped with the mythic equipment, Absolute Deterrence, then stacking Immunity is not necessary. ● Food Improvement When your team is not fully fledged, your heroes will have trouble surviving and dealing damage, so we recommend you use [Aquitaine Meat Pie], which is made of Elf Wheat ×2 and Wild Boar Meat ×1. It can give you +10% HP and +5% ATK for 600 seconds. ● Stage Clearing Tips 2. Use Kyrza's ultimate skill to apply Attack Penalty after the boss uses their second skill. 2. Since Kyrza's ultimate skill deals three instances of damage, it's very likely to trigger the Witch's Remains effect, applying Defense Penalty to the boss. After successfully applying Defense Penalty, use Gerthin's ultimate skill to maximize your damage output. 3. Use Frurbath's ultimate skill to apply Attack Penalty before the boss uses their fourth skill, preventing the boss in Shield Stance from dealing excessive AoE damage to allies. 4. It is recommended to save Garius' ultimate skill until after the boss uses the fourth skill so you can heal allies whenever they need healing. 5. Since the boss removes their own debuffs when switching to Sword Stance after using their second skill, you should only use Voresh's ultimate skill before the boss switches to Shield Stance for their fourth skill. This will help remove the boss's Defense Up effect, allowing you to clear the stage faster. 6. It's recommended for damage dealers to also consider equipping stats like %HP or %DEF to ensure survival. 7. When you are about to lose allies, use the Control Skill to grant shields to all allies. ● About Auto-Combat Skill Timing:
Description: With enough development made, this sample lineup can be used for auto-combat. The timings for using skills are for reference only, and you should adjusting them according to your heroes' skill level and Skill Haste.
 V. High-end Auto-combat Lineup Rec

Recommended Lineup Lineup: Frurbath + Rook + Sacredeia + Vinyara + Galyan Positioning Reference:

● Team Aura Here, Sacredeia uses an Attack Aura, which can increase the ATK of all your heroes by up to 45% in this stage, allowing you to clear it a lot faster. ● Sample Lineup Vinyara uses her passive skill's control immunity to counter the boss's control effects while standing in the farthest position. Rook and Sacredeia provides ample damage output, with Rook as the main damage dealer. His skills can also Ignore Shield, thereby allowing you to clear stages a lot more quickly. Frurbath and Vinyara can take turns to use their ultimate skills, keeping the boss inflicted with the Attack Penalty. You'll also have Galyan's AoE healing. Galyan can be replaced with any Ice or Poison survival support, but it's important that this support should not be a hero that provides too many buffs. Otherwise, the boss will dispel them with their fourth skill and gain a significant ATK increase. ● Skill Timing Note that due to the boss having a special mechanic that halves the effect of Ultimate Energy reduction, Vinyara's ultimate skill effect will be discounted accordingly. You can refer to the configuration below to set the timing for automatic skill activation. In terms of DPS rotation, first, Vinyara dispels the boss's buffs with a chance to trigger the Witch's Residue effect to apply a Defense Penalty, followed by Sacredeia's ultimate skill to inflict Corrosion Damage on the boss. And finally, Rook uses his ultimate skill to maximize damage output.

[Configurations] ● Recommended Level It's recommended to prioritize leveling up Frurbath and Rook after the team reaches level 90 and a breakthrough. ● Key Attributes Frurbath's HP >80,000, DEF >2,500. All of the deployed heroes should have over 35,000 HP and over 1,500 DEF. Vinyara's and Frurbath's Accuracy >220. ● Equipment Description: If Frurbath's HP and DEF are above these standards, Frurbath's Artifact can be switched to the Sun King's Horn, and Galyan can stack ATK instead and switch his Artifact to the Dawn Pipe Organ, thereby clearing the stages even more quickly.
